Recently my husband and I moved from a 2400 sq. ft. home, full of "our treasures" that had been gathered from around the world, to an 1100 sq. ft. apartment. We had no idea how we were going to downsize. Kathy Spahr came to our rescue. We went through our home and decided together what we should keep, consign, and merely donate or give away. She even gave us lists of where to consign and donate.

She measured our empty apartment to the inch and made a floor plan as to exactly where to place all of the furniture, consulting with us for our approval. She helped us make buying decisions on light fixtures, mirrors, rugs, wall colors and more.

On the day of our move, she was at the apartment when the furniture arrived and told the movers exactly where to place it all. Everything fit exactly were she had planned. She and her husband, Denny, hung our artwork on the walls for us.  We needed a couple of extra pieces, so she personally took me shopping until we found the right ones. Once we were settled in, Kathy suggested some accents such as decorative pillows and she helped me find just the right fabrics. 

Kathy listened to our ideas. She was always available to answer any questions. And she did not push her ideas if we wanted something different. Kathy is so easy to work with her design knowledge and wonderful personality.   ~ Ann C. - Pawley's Island
